Check out the look of Kate Middleton and her daughter for the coronation of King Charles III

This Saturday (6th) the expected coronation of the King Charles IIIfrom the United Kingdom, in Westminster Abbey In London. The eyes of the world are turned to this historic moment and to avoid disappointments regarding the clothes of the guests, the dresscode it was well specified in the invitation.

For men, a black tailcoat, dove gray vest and gray striped pants, or military uniform, for women, dresses or a set with a skirt below the knees, hats and gloves were allowed, for foreigners the use of traditional clothing was allowed, that is, those clothes that are different from the suit or dress format, but that represent the local culture of a given country.

The royal family was, of course, the highlight of the day, which is why the Princess of Wales and her family did not disappoint in their looks. Kate Middleton (41) wore a traditional dress of Alexander McQueen and wore jewelry that belonged to Princess Diana and the Queen Elizabeth.

The princess chose an ivory silk crepe dress with a silver hem lined with embroidered flowers that represent each of the four nations of the United Kingdom, they are: the rose, thistle, daffodil and the clover, representing England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. On Kate’s head, instead of a tiara, she wore a “headpiece” Jess Collett x Alexander McQueen, a jewel made of crystal and silver threads in three-dimensional embroidery of leaves, which was also reproduced in a smaller scale for her daughter, Princess Charlotte .

In her ears, Kate wore Pearl earrings that belonged to Princess Diana, with a small modification, and paid homage to the late Queen Elizabeth by wearing the George VI Festoon necklace, which was a gift from King George VI to her daughter.

The middle daughter of the Princes of Wales, Princess Charlotte, followed her mother in wearing an Alexander McQueen bench dress, with white baby doll shoes and a headdress similar to her mother’s, the girl did not wear earrings.
