Margot Robbie takes inspiration from Barbie for CinemaCon

Margot Robbie attended CinemaCon 2023, an event that started last Monday (24) and ended this Thursday (27), in Las Vegas, United States. CinemaCon aims to give vision to the seventh art and brings together major studios to promote their upcoming releases in theaters and streaming.

The actress used the opportunity to publicize her new work, the film Barbie, in which she is the protagonist alongside the actor, Ryan Gosling, the feature film is directed by Greta Gerwig and is scheduled for release on July 20, 2023.

On the red carpet of the convention, Margot was inspired by the looks of the most famous doll in the world and wore a set of top and plaid skirt by Prada, the actress completed the look with a Chanel anklet and on her feet a clog with pink stiletto heels, by Christian Louboutin .

The look was built by Andrew Mukamal, a stylist who has worked with celebrities like Billie Eilish and Zoe Kravitz. This is not Mukamal’s first contact with Robbie, he has already worked with the actress at this year’s Oscars, when she wore a blue Armani Privè dress, despite this, there is still no confirmation that he will be in charge of the tour looks for the publicity of the film.

Next to Margot, was Ryan Gosling, who also bet on pink, wearing a suede jacket in this color, very Barbie style, and a white T-shirt with the name of the director of the film, also in pink.

About the film, the first teaser was recently released and it was possible to take a peek at the “barbieland”, a magical world in which all versions of the doll live in harmony, the plot unfolds from one of the dolls (Margot Robbie) who does not fit into that world like the others and is therefore expelled from “barbieland”, taking along his Ken (Ryan Gosling). The two will have to face the real world and all the challenges and wonders that come along with it.
