Read the lawyers' note:

In view of the recent events involving the name of renowned singer Joelma Mendes, Urbano Vitalino Advogados, the firm that represents her, has come forward to clarify important aspects regarding the judicial restriction of her passport due to labor debts of the band in which she worked.

From the outset, we inform you that, in less than 48 hours, the aforementioned decision was reversed after complete proof that such debts are not directly related to the artist. The debts date back to a period in the band's career when Joelma did not exercise any control over its financial management. The judge who analyzed the case wrote that “in a first analysis of the case, I consider that the extreme measure adopted by the so-called coercive authority appears disproportionate and unnecessary”.
