Dengue vaccination campaign has a list released by the Ministry of Health
The Ministry of Health made available this Thursday (28) the list of cities eligible to receive the dengue vaccine. The redistribution of doses guarantees protection for everyone and to avoid wasting doses close to their expiration date, the Ministry of Health is distributing 1,275 thousand doses of the Qdenga vaccine to municipalities that have not yet started the campaign. In total, 654 cities are participating in the initiative.
According to the Ministry of Health, 1,235,119 doses of vaccine have been made available to states and the DF since the beginning of the campaign. Of these, 534,631 applied and were vaccinated. However, 700,488 of these doses were not applied, that is, they may not have been used due to a lack of candidates, or they may not have yet entered the system due to the lack of agility on the part of the municipalities. Brazil is the first country in the world to offer this vaccine on the public network. Children and adolescents aged 10 to 14 are eligible for vaccination through SUS.

In the Southeast Region, the states benefiting from an increase in municipalities are: Espírito Santo (12 municipalities), Minas Gerais (22 municipalities), Rio de Janeiro (14 municipalities) and São Paulo (22 municipalities, the same number as Minas Gerais).
