Blizzard has announced that Season of the Evil Ones, the first season in Diablo IV’s long timeline, has officially launched. It allows players to face terrifying new Evil Monsters and help Cormond, a former priest of the Cathedral of Light, capture their Evil Hearts and use them to his advantage.
In addition, there is also the Season Journey and Battle Pass, where everyone can earn Favor and Season boosts just by playing, and those who purchase the paid Battle Pass will also get cosmetic items.
Blizzard recalls that Diablo IV Seasons will give all players the opportunity to build the Season Journey from scratch, taking advantage of new features and game mechanics added.
- As all players will have the same chances, they will be able to try new classes and builds that they find interesting or adventure through the season using a favorite class/build while discovering the season mechanics, which generate a new experience;
- To level up the new character, it is not necessary to start from scratch, because he keeps the previous renown obtained by discovering the map and the benefits of the Altars of Lilith that the player has already found. To ensure your renown is shared with the season character, enter your highest-progressed eternal character first;
- Also, if you’ve already unlocked the mount, you can immediately use it with the new character;
- Upon completion of each season, all characters will be transferred to the Eternal Realm, where they will be permanently accessible to players.
