Jeremy Allen White wins Best Actor in a Comedy Series

Today (15), the 75th edition of the Emmy Awards takes place, continuing the high awards season, following the Golden Globes, held on the 7th, and the Critics' Choice Awards, which took place yesterday (14). The ceremony is one of the most important to honor television series and films in the industry. The award corresponds to the 2023 season, as it had to be postponed due to strikes by Hollywood screenwriters and actors.

The series “Succession”, an original HBO Max, is the nomination leader for the second year in a row, with 27 nominations in total. The awards ceremony is being broadcast on the pay TV channel, TNT, and on HBO Max streaming.

Best Actor in a Comedy Series

Yes, chef! Jeremy Allen White repeats the feat among the three awards of the season and becomes a three-time champion in the category for his role as Carmen Berzatto in “The Bear”, a comedy series that has won all the categories in which it was nominated.

In total, the Hulu/FX original series was nominated in 13 categories, including Best Comedy Series, Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series and Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
