Manu Gavassi sings Fruto Proibido in the premiere on Paramount+MTV

The long-awaited ACOUSTIC MTV: MANU GAVASSI SINGS FRUTO PROIBIDO is now available. The new original production from Paramount+ is now on the premium streaming service, and on MTV, it premieres at 8:20 pm. The project pays tribute to one of the most iconic Brazilian musical artists of all time, Rita Lee.

In the new edition of MTV's most renowned musical franchise in the world, the presenter of MTV MIAW 2020 and two-time champion of MTV EMA 2021 and 2022, Manu Gavassi shares the Acústico MTV stage with special guests such as Liniker, Lucas Silveira and Tim Bernardes, as well as have a band composed only of women: Alana Ananias (drummer), Ana Karina Sebastio (double bassist), Juliana Vieira (violinist), Luana Jones (backing vocals), Mari Jacintho (keyboardist), Michelle Abu (percussionist), Monica Agena ( violinist) and Paola Evangelista Lucio (backing vocals).

To warm the hearts of fans, MTV ACOUSTIC WARM-UP: MANU GAVASSI SINGS FORBIDDEN FRUIT will air before the show, at 8pm, on Pluto TV and MTV. In the program, Manu talks exclusively about his expectations and his emotions just minutes before going on stage.

The program also features testimonials from its guests Liniker and Tim Bernardes, Lucas Silveira, the project's musical director, and his band, which made history by being the first made up of only women to record an MTV Acoustic.

Other guests and friends of the singer who passed by the carpet also recorded their excitement at being part of this moment, including: Lucas Mamede, F.eio, Maria Bopp, Mateus Carrilho, Ana Caetano and Zé Luiz, Manu's father.

Still on the 2nd, from 6:30 pm, Manu Gavassi will be on a live broadcast led by Mateus Carilho to chat with the audience and, literally, start the countdown to the premiere. The conversation can be seen on Pluto TV (MTV Pluto TV channel), on the official digital channels of Paramount+ (Instagram and TikTok) and MTV Brasil (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube).

After checking out the content on Paramount+ and MTV, starting at midnight on February 3rd, the album will be available on all audio platforms to listen to and deepen the experience.

During the month of February, always at 12 noon, Manu Gavassi premieres the album's videos on his official YouTube channel. The first of them is “Ovelha Negra”, the project's focus track, which will premiere on the 6th. On February 8th, the singer presents the video for “Esse Tal de Roque Enrow”. On the 10th, Manu releases the video for “Fruto Proibido”, which will be followed by the video for “Cartão Postal”, which premieres on the 13th. On the 15th it will be the turn of the video for “Pirataria”, which closes the original repertoire from Rita Lee's album. On the 17th, Manu presents the video for “GRACINHA”. Closing the series, on the 20th, the singer premieres the video for “Bossa Nova”.

Last week, Universal Music also re-released Rita Lee's anthological album in a special reissue on pink vinyl and all the original art, including a double cover and everything. The album, which hit stores in April 1975, came from an invitation from João Araújo for Rita to write her music without any intervention.
