Marketa Vondrousova wins her first Grand Slam!

Marketa Vondrousova24 years old, is back in a final of grand slam which took place this Saturday (15) in London. Managing to emotionally control herself under any kind of pressure, knowing that she lost her last title fight, she went from Roland Garros in 2019 to the Australian Ashleigh Barty. That said, czech then surprised and won the then favorite Ons Jabeur at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club playing on center court with scores of 2 sets to 0 (6/4 and 6/4), winning the first Major in his career. The athlete was also the unseeded tennis player to win the title for the first time, sealing another great feat conquered in the English grass of Wimbledon.

That 2019 Roland Garros final does not have good memories for the young tennis player czechsince the final in which she lost the title, she had to undergo surgeries on both wrists, which radiated and also brought problems on her left elbow.

After this great achievement, Vondrousova who arrived at 42nd in the singles ranking, will now return to 14th in the WTA and so she returns to repeat her best mark.
