Melim Brothers move the public during the recording of the first DVD of their career

Last Saturday (19), the brothers Gabi, Rodrigo and Diogo Melim took the stage at the concert hall VIBRA São Paulo for the recording of the first DVD of the trio's career. In the show, the singers presented a repertoire full of hits that marked their careers.

The songs “Ask for Happiness”, “Hypnotized” It is “It Was Supposed to Be Another Happy Song” entertained the audience who were present at the recording. “My shelter” was also present on the list and the songs “Backyard”, “Hear Say”, “Ice” and “I Feat You” were also part of the set.

Show marked by emotion

One of the highlights of the presentation was when Diogo sang and dedicated the song “Angel Hair” to his daughter Mel who was present at the scene. The artist cried and led fans to get emotional along with him during the performance. Rodrigo played a string piano in the middle of the catwalk for the presentation of “Butterfly”.

Through social media, Gabi thanked the audience who traveled from various cities across the country to attend this important moment in their career and described the show as a “surreal energy”.

Trajectory of the Melim brothers

Involved with music since childhood, the brothers born in Niterói (RJ) gained more visibility in 2016 when they participated in the musical Reality Show “Superstar”, on TV Globo. At the time, they finished the competition as semi-finalists.

In 2017, they signed a contract with Universal Music and released their first EP, which includes the hit “My Shelter”. The trio's first album was released in 2018 and bore the same name as the group. The band participated in the Rock in Rio 2019 and the first part of the album “I Feat. You” was launched in May 2020. “Yard” is the trio's third studio album and was released in November last year.

The DVD release date has not yet been announced.
