The Clown of Crime Enters the Arena: First Joker Gameplay Revealed

Warner Bros. Games has finally released a new trailer for MultiVersus, showing for the first time the gameplay of the Joker, the villain that no one asked for, but that everyone will love. Slated for release on May 28, 2024, the free game promises to be an insane mix of characters that would make even the most avid crossover fan question their life choices.

Weight Dubbing and Crazy Moves

If you think you’ve seen it all, prepare to be surprised (or not). The Joker arrives with the unmistakable voice of Márcio Simões, the guy who already lent his voice to the villain in 2008’s “Batman: The Dark Knight”. As a Mage-class character, the Joker is full of dirty tricks – including a pogo stick that turns into a weapon, boxing gloves with springs, a rocket launcher and other gadgets that seem straight out of a crazy episode of “Looney Tunes”.

Variants for All Tastes

And because one Joker alone is not enough, the trailer also shows us variants such as “The Batman Who Laughs” and “The Dark Prince Charming”. After all, what is a fighting game without those extra skins to make you spend a little more? Want a soft gothic version of Joker? We have. Want a Joker Prince of Darkness? We also have. More options to confuse you when choosing who will humiliate you in the arena.
