Anitta is the first Brazilian to perform at the UEFA Champions League final

PEPSI® and UEFA are pleased to announce that the Brazilian pop star, Anita, will command the UEFA Champions League Final 2023 PEPSI® Opening Showon June 10, alongside GRAMMY winner Burna Boy, performing in an unmissable spectacle at the world’s biggest annual sporting event.

After a year of new records that included the release of their fifth album “Versions Of Me” and the GRAMMY nomination for “Breakthrough Artist of the Year”, the star of the hit “To involve” will present all the energy of pop music to thousands of fans around the world at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul.

To give a taste of what audiences can expect from the performance, PEPSI® released a teaser called ‘The Prep, featuring Anitta and Burna Boy in the classic style PEPSI®. In it, it is possible to hear the productions “It’s Plenty”, by Burna Boy, and “To involve”, by Anitta, while each one prepares in their locker rooms for an epic presentation for the PEPSI® Kick Off Showjust before they entered the famous UEFA Champions League corridor, side by side, in the packed stadium, with a lively audience.

This is the seventh year that PEPSI® and UEFA mark the Champions League Final, uniting football and music fans in an unmissable spectacle of entertainment. The PEPSI® Opening Show will be broadcast in over 200 countries and territories around the world, on local television networks and on official UEFA channels in YouTube and not TikTok, minutes before the start of the final of the biggest club football tournament of the year. In addition, the event is the entirety of the global campaign ‘Thirsty For More” in PEPSI®.
