Nintendo has made available the update 1.2.0 for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which brought some bug fixes and removed additional glitches that allowed items to be duplicated.
After the patch went live, some users went to reddit complain that they were no longer able to duplicate items, something that had been used a lot by certain players in order to stock up on resources and get infinite money.
While the extent of the changes remains unclear, some users have complained about the removal of a bug that exploited the game’s auto-build feature to provide players with piles of frozen meat.
Another glitch, which could be performed on Tobio’s Hollow Chasm, has also apparently been removed. It allowed duplicating items by fusing a resource to a single arrow that, when fired from a multi-shot bow, created clones of that resource.
The patch also fixed bugs in the main quests A Mystery in the Depths and Secret of the Ring Ruins, which previously prevented players from progressing through the adventure. Several optional quests, such as Lurelin Village Restoration Project and Seeking the Pirate Hideout, also had bugs fixed.
