Patrícia Ramos responds to criticism for denouncing her ex-husband: “I want to encourage other women”

Patrícia Ramos used social media last Friday (10) to refute the criticism she received after revealing, on TV Globo's “Encontro”, the violence suffered by her ex-husband, businessman Diogo Vitório. On X, the influencer said her goal is to encourage other women to report any type of abuse. The presenter was accused of using her reports of domestic abuse to “gain media”, since for some people, Patrícia advertised a perfect and happy relationship with Diogo Vitório.

Patrícia’s criticisms and positioning

“Everything was exposed, things I didn’t want to get out. But the question is: 'How did she post that she was happy on social media? Hmmm strange”she began by reproducing the comment that many on the web have been making.

“I'm an influencer, presenter, actress, I have a talk show, do you really think I loved going on national television to talk about the HELL I experienced? There are many other topics that I would love to cover. Going back to this subject is boring for me. Guys, You need a reality check,” it started.

The influencer stated that her main objective is to encourage other women to report and not be subjected to any type of violence within any type of relationship. But for her, everything that is said about her in the media creates great discomfort among people and she knows the real reason.

Patrícia reports domestic violence on the program 'Encontro'

Patrícia detailed on the program the relationship she had with her ex-husband. She reported that since dating she had been in an abusive relationship, but she believed in change. She said that he always promised that he would change and improve as a person. The actress continued the story saying that she let time pass and that she got married due to promises of change. But the opposite happened and they separated and, after the breakup, she lived through things she never thought she would experience, going through everything in silence.

About the case

Patrícia Ramos used social media on October 31 to announce that she had denounced her ex-husband Diogo Vitório for embezzlement, domestic violence, theft and stalking. The presenter shared an official note from her lawyers stating that precautionary measures were requested against the businessman.

In a registered complaint, Patrícia Ramos' defense presented photos of the presenter injured after an alleged fight with Diogo. In addition to images, videos and audio were also included in the complaint.

Diogo Vitório also commented on the accusations made against him by his ex-wife. The businessman published a statement signed by his legal advisor on his Instagram profile. The businessman informed that all details will be clarified in due time and reiterated that he is available to the authorities for any clarification. And he continues to trust in justice and is sure that the truth will soon emerge.
