CBF will reveal provisional coach for the selection before the arrival of Carlo Ancelotti

The CBF will announce next week the name of the coach who will provisionally lead the selection in the six games of this year’s qualifiers – if all goes well, until the arrival of Carlo Ancelotti.

After eight meetings between the president of Real Madrid, Florentino Pérez, and his coach, and the president of the CBF, Ednaldo Rodrigues, the Brazilian institution believes that the Italian can take over as soon as the Spanish club releases him or when his contract ends in June. from 2024.

Since the deal with Ancelotti was closed, the CBF has been discussing who to choose for the coaching staff that will take over before the Italian arrives. He made two nominations (one for Brazil and one for Europe), but failed to sign both.

Legally, he cannot sign anything until January, six months before his contract with Real Madrid expires. But the entity understands that it already has business guarantees. One of them is that Ancelotti will indicate someone in Europe to make the transition in the national team until his arrival.
