Perfect Love: Cast women reproduce scene from the movie ‘Barbie’
There’s no way, the doll doesn’t know how to play and it’s time! This week, the subject that most dominated the conversations of the public was certainly the premiere of the live action film by “Barbie”, one of the films, if not the most, expected of the year.
The moment in question is when all the Barbies appear on a beach and start greeting each other, and they all say “Hi Babie” nonstop, which even generated a greeting among the project’s spectators, who reproduced the scene day and night.
Camila Queiroz, Mariana Ximenes, Lucy Ramos, Valentina Melleu, Iza Moreira, Maria Gal, Carol Badra, Isabel Fillardis and Symone Strobel participated in the video, all characterized as their characters in the soap opera, showing that they recorded behind the scenes.
BARBIE WAS THE 2nd BIGGEST DEBUT IN BRAZILIAN CINEMAS
After having the biggest pre-sale of tickets in the history of Warner in Brazil, the live-action of “Barbie” debuted yesterday with another record, it became the second biggest opening of Thursday of the last times, behind only “Avengers: Endgame”.
About 1.2 million people packed movie theaters across the country to see the film of the most famous doll in the world. Income exceeded R$ 22 million, reaching close to R$ 23 million, and the numbers will be astronomical when the weekend ends.
“The premiere of ‘Barbie’ confirms what we have been defending. Cinema, which has always been the favorite entertainment of Brazilian families and one of the most accessible and democratic, is making a strong comeback!”, points out Marcos Barros, president of ABRAPLEX – Associação Brasileira das Empresas Exibidoras Cinematográficas Operadoras de Multiplex.
“The more quality films like ‘Barbie’ as well as ‘Oppenheimer’ we have to offer, the faster we will match or even surpass pre-pandemic box office levels. Film after film, the result obtained is above expectations”, completed the professional.
Projections show that the sector is recovering and tends to get closer to the results presented before the pandemic, which registered an annual average of 170 million between 2017 and 2019.
“Today, the number of launches is still 30% lower than in the pre-pandemic scenario. But with the increase in the offer of films, consequently, the public will return or even surpass these levels”, concludes Marcos Barros.
