Rainer Cadete cries with his son’s speech: ‘Friendship that goes to other lives’
“Hello Dad how are you? Today I was given this complicated task, which is to talk about you. About Us. You are a heart that beats hard outside my body. I love our adventures, I love how we encompass our worlds and mix them up. I’m very proud of you, dad. I hope to one day become a third of what you are, because you are admirable. I love you, Dad.”
Rainer was moved to tears – and who wouldn’t, with a statement like that? He spoke of love and the way Pietro was conceived.
“Wow! how do you do it now”, questioned Rainer, full of emotion.
“Son, my heart is full of longing. I love my son very much, who arrived at a time when I was very young. I was 18 when I found out I was going to be a father. It was with my first love, Aline. He was begotten with a beautiful love. He is a being that I love so much… A poet, he has the gift of words, he juggles words; it flows in the words that come from his heart. I am very proud of the man he is becoming.”
Rainer highlighted the importance of being present in his son’s life, even though they are far away due to worka. The two turn the moments together into a beautiful love story to see.
“I always try to be a present father, due to work commitments, but we are always present in each other’s lives. And I tell him that presence is not a very physical state. I feel him around even though he’s on vacation in Brasilia. We love each other and are interested in each other. I see that sometimes there are parents who don’t have a flow of communication. When we manage to build this with a child, we have a bridge that stays open forever. It is a friendship that goes on for other lives.”
FROM THE PERIPHERY TO ROME
Still in the conversation, during the attraction, Rainer revealed that he lived in Rome, in an unbelievable time. “Can you imagine how crazy? He lived in Samambaia, a satellite town on the outskirts of Brasilia, which had just been born. When I was 11, 12 years old I went to live in Rome, I studied at the Roman school in the 7th and 8th grades there, I learned English, French, Spanish and Italian ”, he said.
Rainer said that making Luigi is one of the ways to honor Italian culture.
“Italian culture is a culture that I love very much. Making Luigi is one of the ways to honor the culture there. My son, Pietro is another way to honor Italy.”
Cadete revealed that childhood memories are brought to compose the character of the telenovela.
“I love Rome, Italy and I bring many childhood memories and expressions I learned there to Luigi.”
