Perfect Love: Friar João is jealous of Darlene

In “Amor Perfeito“, a telenovela aired by Rede Globo, Frei João (Allan Souza Lima) and Darlene (Carol Castro) had an affair in the past and it seems he still has feelings for the girl.

“Amor Perfeito” premiered on March 20, on Globo, replacing “Mar do Sertão” in the 6 pm slot. It is written by Duca Rachid, Júlio Fischer and Elisio Lopes Jr., freely inspired by the novel “Marcelino Pão e Vinho” (1953), by the Spanish writer José María Sánchez Silva. The direction is by Alexandre Macedo, Lúcio Tavares, Joana Antonaccio and Larissa Fernandes. Artistic direction is signed by André Câmara. In the cast, Camila Queiroz, Diogo Almeida, Mariana Ximenes, Thiago Lacerda, Daniel Rangel, Carmo Dalla Vecchia, Juliana Alves, Levi Asaf, among others.

Marê rejects Júlio and decides to leave his house. Clara tells Darlene that she wanted Frei João to be her father. Children and religious are worried that they will never see Marcellin again. Érico asks Veronica to marry him. Ademar threatens to separate from Ione. Júlio finds it strange when Verônica says that she never got married. Marcelino runs away from the mansion. Veronica scolds Júlio because of Marê. Marê arrives at the Brotherhood, and Marcelino begs to stay with her. With Albuquerque’s help, Gilda takes Marcelino back to the mansion and locks him in her room. Rita freaks out and tells Gilda that Marcelino has a very high fever.

Thursday, July 27th

Gilda worries about Marcelino. Marê has a bad feeling. Sonia complains about Julio’s lack of attention. Neiva tells Ítalo about Gilda’s obsession with Orlando. Ivan sits next to Adélia at the cinema, and she pretends not to like it. Tânia likes it when Justino comments that she needs to find a new boyfriend. Rita calls Orlando to take care of Marcelino. Valente finds Tobias’ notebook. Gilda is overjoyed to hear Marcelino call Orlando father. Ivan invites Adélia out for ice cream. Celeste and Popó start dating. Tânia prevents Ítalo from kissing Neiva. Ivan is surprised by Adelia. Sônia breaks up with Júlio. Gilda uses Marcelino to convince Orlando to stay with her.

Friday, July 28th

Gilda is furious with Orlando’s new rejection. Veronica and Érico console Julio. Sonia complains to Aparecida. Manoel says a prayer with the priests for Marcelino. Orlando worries about Marcelino’s unwillingness to recover. Marê talks to Sônia about Júlio. Orlando reveals Marcelino’s health status to Marê and the priests and everyone is concerned. Valente accompanies Lívia and Tobias home. Orlando and Marê resume. Albuquerque forbids Tobias and Lívia from talking to Valente. Friar João is saddened to see Clara with the wheelchair given by Gaspar. Orlando and Marê feel sorry for the boy’s sadness. Marcelino is sick and faints at school.

Saturday, July 29th

Orlando and Marê take Marcelino to the hospital. Ione is frustrated when trying to seduce Ademar. Leonor tells Gilda about Marcelino fainting. Marê confronts Gilda, who claims that she will marry Orlando. Frei Severo and Padre Donato blame Gilda for Marcelino’s condition. Celeste tries to calm her students down. Orlando tells Marê, Friar Severo and Padre Donato that Marcelino has symptoms of depression. Marcelino begs to stay with Marê, but Gilda ignores him. A few days pass and Marcelino’s condition does not improve. Aninha, Manoel, Clara and Tobias miss their friend and ask Celeste about him. Marê asks Orlando to marry Gilda to save Marcelino.
