Paris Saint-Germain has decided to strengthen the security of addresses linked to the club and some players in the main squad. After suffering protests from several fans outside the Camp des Loges, the professional group’s training centre, the protection scheme was readjusted to avoid or prevent more hostile reactions.
According to information released by Agence France-Presse (AFP), the French news agency, Verratti, Messi and Neymar – who had the front of the house occupied by some PSG fans yesterday afternoon (3) – are the main targets of the complaints from the “ultras” of the team.
The Paris Saint-Germain board took action after a club source indicated that the most fanatical portion of the fans intend to continue with the demonstrations and expand them to other points of interest over the next few days. In addition, chants against part of the PSG management team were also heard.

With the end of the dream of winning the UEFA Champions League this season, after the elimination to Bayern Munich, the climate at Paris Saint-Germain has deteriorated in recent weeks – on and, mainly, off the pitch. Mbappé, who has the preference of the surroundings of the club for being from the country, is armored.
However, Messi and Neymar have been the targets of much criticism from the local press and fans. The Argentine playmaker, who won the World Cup with his national team in the Qatar Cup in December, was criticized for having traveled to Saudi Arabia without official authorization from PSG. The club, which has not officially manifested itself, suspended the player for two weeks.
Meanwhile, Neymar, recovering from an injury to his right ankle suffered in February, was not spared and saw some more fervent “ultras” gather outside his residence to protest and ask for the Brazilian to leave.
In a note, Paris Saint-Germain repudiated the acts and condemned the action of the fans present at the protests in the street of Neymar’s house, showing support for the group of players.
