Reborn: João Pedro accuses Sandra of punching him in the stomach

Rebirth holds sad moments for Sandra (Giullia Buscacio). Bombshell news promises to change the course of history and the young woman's destiny. After becoming suspicious of her pregnancy, the young woman decides to seek out João Pedro (Juan Paiva) to share her suspicions, but the meeting takes an unexpected turn.

Meeting marked by tension

The conversation between Sandra and João Pedro does not go as expected. João, clearly surprised and suspicious, questions the child's paternity: “How can you be sure that the child is really mine?” he asks, leaving Sandra visibly offended. Sandra's response leaves no room for doubt: she is certain of João's paternity and does not accept being questioned in this way.

Changes and challenges

Belly blow

João Pedro's accusation, insinuating a “belly blow”, only intensifies the tension. “How can you be sure that the child is really mine?”, the boy will say, leaving Sandra outraged.

“Don’t ask me a question like that that offends me, okay? Listen here, João… I only had two men in my life, and one of them was you. You know everything about the other, because I never hid anything from you. And from him, from Bruno, I had already been separated for months when I met you. I don’t admit that you have any doubts that this child is yours, João!”, says the young woman.

Without taking insults home

Sandra, however, is not discouraged and responds vehemently, stating that she never intended to “entangle” him in that way. The discussion ends with Sandra declaring João Pedro free, marking a turning point in the plot.

“You didn’t open your heart to me. That heart is closed to love, but I opened mine to you and I want you to know that”, points out Egídio’s daughter.

But João Pedro will be cruel: “He caught me from the other side, didn’t he?”, implying that his girlfriend wants to hold him back with the famous “belly blow”.
