Reasons for stopping recording

According to sources behind the scenes of the series, to “TheWrap”, one of the reasons for the delay of Euphoria could be due to the seriousness of the writers that occurred in 2023. Thus, interrupting Sam Levinson's schedule, which consequently was given more time to the screenwriter to finalize the plot of the series.

The plot addresses mature themes of adolescence, telling the story of Rue Bennett, a 17-year-old teenager who struggles to recover after an overdose. She immersed herself in the use of Oxycodone during the period when her father was facing cancer, and his loss left her deeply shaken.
