Vai na Fé: Ben and Theo face each other and the climate weighs on the final stretch of the trial

Towards the end, Theo’s long trial (Emilio Dantas) arrives the expected moment of the direct clash between the villain and Ben (Samuel of Assisi). The businessman will give his version on the charge of abuse of vulnerable and when being questioned by his former best friend, time will close in court.

The judge, however, will not let him think he is the greatest and will respond accordingly: “Do you mean to say that there are occasions when it is necessary to do this?”, he will question.

Well, then, ask Theo questions. At a certain point, it will be as if they were young again: “When you had relations with Janaína Freitas Lima and Solange Carvalho, were they sober, conscious?”, asks the lawyer.

“I didn’t notice any signs of drunkenness in any of my partners. Neither Janaína nor Sol”, will answer Theo.

Ben will prompt the villain: “And yet none of them woke up at home, did they? Where did you take the victims? Responds!”

The former friends will face each other and Theo will again use and abuse cynicism: “I don’t remember! It’s been over a decade. Are you going to say that you remember all the sex in your life?!”

Ben will end the interrogation: “No more questions, Your Honor.”

THEO CLAIMS IT IS BEN’S ACT OF REVENGE

When interrogated by Ricardo, Theo will try to convey the idea that the whole trial is nothing more than an act of revenge by Ben against him.

The judge will state that the final verdict is nearing its end: “We are approaching closing arguments. Doctors will have the opportunity to present their arguments orally. Finally let’s finish this trial. And it will be today!”
