A Spider-Verse Story” has just been released on YouTube

In all the films, series and especially in the superhero comics that we see a little more about Spider-Man's life, we can notice several obstacles that he has been facing throughout his life, this includes relationships, academic life, etc. In the famous spiderversefrom the little that has already been shown to us from the Miles Morales universe, this is very clear, but the short released this Wednesday (27) ends up making its emotions more explicit.

The world of Miles Morales

The character, who lives in Brooklyn, New York, lives with his parents and studies at a private school, had a normal life until he was bitten by a radioactive spider and his world turned upside down. In addition to having to face some criminals on his journey as a superhero, many issues in his life end up generating internal and external problems for him.

Every Spider-Man goes through countless difficulties within the Marvel Comics universe, but Miles' is one of the most talked about and demonstrated because he is an extremely young teenager who still doesn't know how to deal with so many responsibilities in his life, in addition to having to reconciling all of this with your social life and school.

About the short

The two films released starring the character Miles Morales as the protagonist, Spider-Man in Spiderverse and the second, from June 2023 and winner of the Oscar for Best Animated Film in 2024, Spider-Man Through the Spiderverse, both were a huge success for superhero fans, with an impeccable soundtrack and an excellent script. With all this, of course we would have more content about the character's history.

In the animation available on YouTube, before Miles even walks through the door of the house, dramatic and even agonizing music starts playing while his breathing becomes heavy to convey the anxiety and restlessness he was feeling.

The main objective of the short is precisely to show him having an anxiety attack and how he begins to have a panic attack when thinking about the demotivating phrases he hears during the day, the character is psychologically and physically exhausted trying to maintain his good grades at school, be a good hero for the city and a good son.

All of Miles' emotions are put into the animation in a unique and cohesive way, just a little over 7 minutes long. Despite everything, the short has no relationship with the chronological line of the films.
