England beats Haiti in complicated game to secure qualification

Who imagined that the match between England and Haiti complicated? It happened. The Haitians struggled for one of the title favorites. However, the English managed to leave with the important triumph for the classification in group D, which also has Denmark and China.

English keep the ball, but only manage to break through the block on penalty

The first chance of the game came through pressure on the English team’s departure. Louis Batcheba stole, crossed and the defense took it away for a corner. At 13, Haiti arrived again with danger after Borgella kicked cross and the ball dangerously passed the goal of Mary Earps.

At 16, VAR called for a possible penalty for England after Pierre-Louis stepped on Chloe Kelly, but judge Emikar Calderas ended up not signaling the maximum penalty. However, the penalty came five minutes later, after Lucy Bronze was launched in the area and Louis prevented the progress of the move with his hands.

Haiti appears in danger

Although with more finishes, England ended up failing in the finals and bumping into the Haitian goalkeeper, but managed to secure the three points in the debut.
