Kings Of Leon perform nostalgic with their greatest classics

This weekend (22, 23 and 24) Lollapalooza takes place, one of the most anticipated events of the year by listeners of good music and which always exceeds the public's expectations with today's most listened to artists. That year, one of the most anticipated performances was by the alternative rock band Kings Of Leon. The American quartet joined the lineup replacing the band Paramore, who canceled their trip to the festival in January this year. The show started promptly, at 9pm on the Budweiser stage and, even with rain, raised the public's energy with the band's timeless songs.

This is Kings Of Leon's fifth visit to Brazil and for fans, the show was sustained by nostalgia and emotion. The recent hit “Mustang” started the presentation.

Singing together

One of the most impactful and memorable moments of the night happened during the performance of the song “Pyro”. It is already customary for the Brazilian public to surprise international artists during their shows in Brazil, showing all the passion and joy that is part of the country's culture, and with Kings Of Leon it was no different. During the performance of the song, vocalist Calleb Followill stopped singing and the entire audience sang the chorus in unison without even needing the accompaniment of the instruments. The audience was unanimously excited and moved by the performance.

Nostalgic setlist and surprising sound quality

For the show, the artists created a robust setlist to represent the three eras of the band's 25 years. In addition to the impeccable song choices, it is worth highlighting the sound quality of each performance. The band demonstrated once again all its talent for making live versions identical to the originals.

Interaction with the public and conclusion of the night

In one of the band's few interactions with the public, vocalist Calleb Followill declared to the audience that he will stay in Brazil for more days: “We're going home after this show, but we'll still spend some time with you before then..” Throughout the night, eternal and true rock and roll was celebrated. At the end of the show, the public was treated to Kings Of Leon's greatest classics, “Use Somebody” and “Sex On Fire”, which concluded the performance in a majestic and meorable.
