Powerful rifts draw attention at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival

The big festivals that bring together celebrities from all over the world are always highly anticipated by the general public. There are many points of great interest, but mainly makeup, hairstyles and looks; even because everything that passes through the red carpet becomes a fashion trend around the world.

The red carpet was graced by very stylish celebrities, who opted for slit, cropped and low-cut looks to be present at the 76th edition of the Cannes Film Festival.

Sara Sampaio, for example, opted for the look signed by Zuhair Murad, an orange dress that has a cutout at belly level and feathers at the ends. Brazilians are also making waves, at the after party on the first day of the festival, Alessandra Ambrosio drew attention by wearing a shiny strapless dress, with a slit, sequined in shades of blue, purple and black.

The Cannes Film Festival celebrates its 76th edition this year, it is the most anticipated film event of the year; and takes place between the 16th and 27th of May 2023. Created in 1946 by Jean Zay, former Minister of National Education of the French Republic. The event was called “Festival Internacional Du Film until the year 2022. It is one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world and takes place every year in the same month, in the French city of Cannes.

Last year the ‘Golden Palm’ went to the “Triangle of Sorrows” by Ruben Östlund. The Swedish director, already winner for “The Square: The Art of Discord in 2017”, assumes the position of president of the jury this year.
