With Fla-Flu, Copa do Brasil has clashes for the round of 16 defined

On the afternoon of this Tuesday, the 2nd, at the headquarters of the CBFthe clashes of the round of 16 of the Brazil’s Cup have been defined. Only 16 clubs remain in the fight for the most desired title in the country and the games promise to catch fire. It is worth mentioning that the round trip matches will be held between May 17th and 31st and only eight clubs advanced to the quarterfinals. Flamengo and Fluminense was the standout match drawn at the event

It is important to remember that the round of 16 will have only one team that is not from the first division of the Brazilian Championship. Sport was the only remaining of the clubs that did not compete in the Brasileirão. The team managed to eliminate Coritiba and arrives as one of the dangerous teams for the sequence of the round of 16 of the Copa do Brasil.

The teams that advance to the quarterfinals of the Copa do Brasil will earn around four million and three hundred thousand and, if they manage to be champions, they will be able to take home a total of seventy million. The amount with the winner in the tournament decision is added to the remainder that the team received since the beginning of its participation in the championship.

Still in time, the round of 16 phase of the Copa do Brasil will be played in home and away games. The away goal will not be a predominant factor for the definition of a classification in case of a tie.
