Women of Sand: Raquel tricks Marcos again

Virgílio fights with Breno. Ruth tells Raquel to stay away from Marcos. Marcos tells Virgílio that Breno was right to close the beach. Virgílio makes a move on Tonia, who rejects him. Raquel goes from Ruth once again to Marcos. Marcos tells Ruth that he will never confuse her again, but he tells Raquel that. Ruth is sad that Marcos doesn’t show up. Marcos tells Ruth (Raquel) that he loves her. Alaor arrives in Pontal. Alaor looks for Ruth. Alaor talks to Raquel thinking it’s Ruth. Ruth tells Alaor that they are just friends. Raquel asks Ruth who tricked her. Alaor returns angry to the farm.

Monday, July 10th

Raquel manages to convince Da Lua not to tell Ruth that she is seeing Marcos. Raquel lies to Ruth saying that she is going to have lunch with Vanderlei, when, in fact, she is going to meet Marcos. Virgílio demands that Rozendo find out who told Breno that the signs were being removed from the beach. Malu meets Raquel and tells Marcos that he didn’t like her. Malu tells Clarita that she met Ruth. Marcos finds Sampaio and tells him that he has decided to break off his engagement to his daughter.

Tuesday, July 11th

Raquel fights with Wanderlei. Marcos tells Andréa that there will be no more wedding. Andréa is furious and throws Marcos out of her house. Raquel finds out that Wanderlei spent her money buying a motorcycle and slaps him. Wanderlei asks Donato to lend him money. Ruth recognizes herself in the sculpture that Dalua made. Virgílio discovers that Malu told the journalists that Marcos ended the engagement. To get revenge on Manoela, Virgílio has her sandwich cart destroyed. Virgílio apologizes to Breno. Isaura asks Raquel to find a job. Marcos goes to Floriano’s house and is confused when he sees Ruth and Raquel together.

Wednesday, July 12th

Marcos approaches Raquel thinking he is Ruth and she introduces him to her mother. Ruth is shocked and tells Isaura that Raquel stole Marcos from her. Joel and the boys agree to set fire to Manoela’s cart. Raquel and Marcos go to Alemão’s bar. Wanderlei approaches the couple, talks to Raquel and Marcos is stunned. Malu tells Arlete that Virgílio is jealous of Breno. Raquel tells Marcos that she lied because she fell in love with him. Marujo asks Donato to borrow a boat. Marcos tells Floriano that he wants to marry Raquel. César catches Malu’s attention because of the party she’s having at home. Marcos arrives and also scolds his sister, who is photographed by a journalist. Virgílio and Clarita arrive at the house too.

Thursday, July 13th

Virgílio arrives at home and expels Malu’s guests. Santiago and Vasco start a fire in Manoela’s cart. Dalua finds the kerosene used to burn Manoela’s tent. Ruth tells Raquel to make Marcos happy. Wanderlei goes looking for Raquel. Breno is outraged when he learns that Manoela’s cart was set on fire. Ruth talks to Dalua and confesses that she is very sad because Raquel stole her boyfriend. Manoela goes to the police station to file a complaint, but the police chief pays no attention to her. Virgílio is outraged when he reads the article about his family in the newspaper. Dalua keeps an eye on Raquel and approaches her with a rope in her hands.

Upon seeing Dalua, Raquel runs away, but he manages to reach her and attacks her. Raquel screams for help and Donato listens. Donato approaches them and Dalua runs away. Raquel tells Isaura that Dalua tried to kill her. Ruth tells Glorinha that Donato sent the fishermen to look for Dalua. Tonia confesses to the police chief that she was the one who warned Breno that they were removing the signs banning the beach. Ruth finds Dalua and he tells her that he attacked Raquel because she lied to him about Marcos. Virgílio and Malu meet Alaor at Arlete’s farm. Servílio and Marujo contradict Donato in front of the delegate. Glorinha tells Dalua and Ruth that the chief will not look for him. Marcos says he wants to talk to Ruth. Raquel tries to postpone the conversation, but fails.
