Actor Luke Charles Stafford claimed in a Facebook post (which has since been deleted) that he will be playing the character Ratcliffe in the 2024 Call of Duty, which is being made by Treyarch.
“Activision decided to adapt their next main character “Ratcliffe” for Call of Duty based on my face/appearance, and I’m happy. To all my college roommates at Anderson University and those years in Smith Hall playing Black Ops II… Next year we might face each other again, but I want to play like me.”
Apparently when Stafford says “next year”, he is referring to Call of Duty coming out next year. In the videos of the post, as informed by Insider Gaming, he mentions Call of Duty several times. In one of them, you can even see one of the team members wearing a Modern Warfare II t-shirt, which was the last game in the franchise.
According to what is known so far, Treyarch’s next game is codenamed Cerberus, will come out in 2024 and will be another chapter in the Black Ops series.
