Instagram again warns Regina Duarte for posting fake news

Regina Duarte returned to share false news on her Instagram. This time the actress made a publication about the criminal acts that took place on January 8. It is a video in which supporters of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) try to blame alleged PT infiltrators for the vandalism committed during the attack on the Three Powers.

The actress posted the same video for the first time on April 19, and posted it again on April 21. The post was labeled, in both posts, as “false information” by the platform.

In the video, the protesters who invaded the buildings of the Three Powers act as if they were protecting public property from alleged left-wing militants who would be infiltrating the Bolsonarist demonstration.

The platform offers a brief explanation informing that the PT flag that appears in the video was, in fact, stolen by Bolsonarist protesters who invaded the National Congress. And also the link to the “Estadão Verifies” article that proves that the information is false.

In the caption, Regina wrote that “The CPI on 1/8/23, ongoing these days, will show the #world that Brazil remains a serious Nation.”

The actress has already been condemned by the Court of Justice of the Federal District and Territories (TJDFT) to recant about false information released on social networks on April 11, 2020, about an inheritance left by former first lady Marisa Letícia Lula da Silva.
