Diablo IV gets details on seasons, battle pass and more

THE POST-LAUNCH EXPERIENCE

– In Diablo IV, post-launch content encompasses the player experience with new seasons, the Season Journey, Battle Pass rewards, long-term maintenance, balancing, and game updates.

– Seasons of Diablo IV will begin in the weeks following launch, starting with Season 1. Each season will include a new gameplay feature and missions, with new characters, challenges, legendary aspects, meta changes, and quality of life improvements.

– In addition, each season will be supported by its own Season Journey. As you progress through the Season Journey, you’ll earn rewards and upgrade the Battle Pass. However, you will not be able to speed up the Season Journey.

– The Battle Pass is a way to get rewards. It includes both free and premium levels, which can be unlocked by advancing through the game. Free levels grant game bonuses to everyone, allowing seasonal characters to level up faster. Premium tiers are unlocked by purchasing the Premium Pass, which allows you to obtain premium Shop Coins and seasonal cosmetic items. It will not be possible to buy power with premium levels.

– In addition to the hundreds of weapon and armor styles that can be unlocked in-game, the Store offers even more varied cosmetic options. Nothing on offer in the Store grants gameplay advantages, direct or indirect. The Store only offers cosmetic items, which are updated periodically.
