Palmeiras and Internacional play an exciting game at Beira-Rio

Palmeiras and Internacional faced each other, this Sunday (16), for the fifteenth round of the Brazilian championship, in Beira-Rio. The host conquered 21 points, being only 3 unless Verdão, which has 24 points in sixth position. Experiencing different moments in the season, Palmeiras and Inter promoted a good show in the capital of Rio Grande do Sul.

Internacional entered the field using the formation 4-3-1-2 and was cast as follows: John; Renê, Gabriel Mercado, Vitão, Fabricio Bustos; Carlos de Pena, Romulo, Charles Aránguiz; Alan Patrick; Wanderson and Enner Valencia.

Palmeiras entered using the formation 4-3-3 and with the following lineup: Weverton; Joaquín Pquerez, Gustavo Gómez, Murilo, Marcos Rocha; Gabriel Menino, Zé Rafael, Raphael Veiga; Jhonatan, Jóse López and Artur.

In the first half both teams kept a very open game and abused the ball turns in search of spaces. With 17 minutes into the game, Verdão managed to find ways towards the attack. Weverton defended the weak beat from outside the area and played calmly. Rômulo fell on the lawn from exhaustion, and the match stopped so that the player could be attended to.

In the 89th minute, another change was made at Inter, Rômulo left so striker Luiz Adriano could enter. The last change in the squad was made in additions.
