Preta Gil talks about her new treatment and says: “Feeling excited and hopeful”

In yet another weekly video to update her health status for her followers and fans, singer Preta Gil, 48, published a new video this Sunday (30).

In her publication, which was posted on her social networks, Gilberto Gil’s daughter revealed that she came to São Paulo, to do a battery of exams and that she met a surgeon who will operate there in the future. Preta Gil also said that in a week she will start her radiotherapy and oral chemotherapy treatment, as she is feeling hopeful and excited, as she is sure that at the end of this road she will have a cure. And finishing her video, the singer was surprised with her sister, “Bela Gil”saying he loves her.

Preta Gil, discovered the disease in January of this year, and since then has been receiving support from close friends and fans. Your Friend, “gominho”, moved to the singer’s house, to be by her side, for whatever she needs. The artist is always surrounded by good friends, days ago she received the visit of the singer “Ana Carolina”, who made her friend happy, singing and laughing. The actress, “Carolina Dieckamann”, who is one of Preta Gil’s best friends, also gives all the support, protects and takes care of her, as she is always close by.

The artist was diagnosed with “adenocarcinoma in the final portion of the intestine”, at the time of discovery. Preta was hospitalized for six days at the clinic in São Vicente, in Rio de Janeiro.

The following week, Preta Gil, began to undergo treatment against bowel cancer and since then, has been updating her health status and revealing each process she is doing, about the treatment. In her videos, the singer is always very confident and with a lot of faith that everything will work out, that she will win this fight.
