Designer David Lee is from Ceará and that’s where he takes inspiration for his creations. To be more specific, his collections are based on crochet, which, in his hands, gains an air of modernity and seeks to represent the freedom of those who wear them, whether male or female.

The collection to be presented at SPFW is called ‘Parangaba’ and is based on the Feira de Parangaba, in Fortaleza. The association of the name of the collection with the fair is due to the fact that David Lee seeks to promote the ‘Buy 1, get 3’, since in addition to fashion, his creations offer culture, diversity and art. Having as its main characteristic the sewing done slowly by hand, the fashion show will present many colors, textures and different models aimed at the female and male public.

The designer says that the brand’s fashion show was inspired by the short film ‘Um dia no sertão’ and other works such as ‘Lisbela and the prisoner’. The designer also reveals that the collection is inspired by the June fairs and that, despite being different from what we know, it still carries the theme in a stereotyped way and promises a ‘humored and unpretentious’ fashion show.
