Snoop Dogg dismiss his abuse case

Snoop Dogg has asked a Los Angeles court in a 17-page motion to dismiss the charges of a woman who accused him of abuse.

Two weeks ago it was announced that the woman is demanding 10 million dollars (about 8.9 million euros) from the musician. She states that the rapper forced her to give him oral pleasure in 2013. 

That would have happened in a studio, which she had come to because Snoop Dogg’s friend Bishop Don Juan had told her it would be good for her career. The woman wishes to remain anonymous.

Snoop Dogg denies the incident. In the defense, which is in the hands of Rolling Stone , the rapper states that no abuse or sexual acts have taken place. His lawyers also point out that the woman in her indictment does not claim that Snoop Dogg himself promised that he would help her with her career.

They accused the woman of extortion, saying she hoped to get paid soon so that news of the charges wouldn’t get out in the run-up to this year’s Super Bowl, with Snoop Dogg performing on the halftime show .
