Vinicius Jr. surpasses Neymar and is currently the best Brazilian player, according to research

O Intel Atlas Research Institute released the result of a survey carried out to identify who is, for the Brazilian public, the best player playing within the country or of Brazilian nationality. According to the survey, the public chose the striker of Real Madrid, Vinícius Junior, as the current best Brazilian, with 17.5% of the fans questioned. Soon after Vinícius comes Neymarattacker of Paris Saint-Germainwith 12.3%; ArrascaetaUruguayan midfielder Flamengowith 11.8% and German CanoArgentine forward Fluminensewith 10.1%.

It is good to emphasize that this research was carried out by consulting 1600 people, from 640 municipalities, during the 6th and 20th of April.

It is noteworthy that only three athletes who play in European football made the list: Vinicius Junior, Neymar and Gabriel Jesus.

In the survey, Flamengo dominated the list with five athletes mentioned. Fluminense and Corinthians with two each, and Palmeiras, Athletico Paranaense and Atlético Mineiro, with just one player.

In addition, in the questionnaire carried out, there was a question about who is the person’s favorite player, in the same way, whether he is Brazilian by nature, or who plays in Brazilian football. In this case, who got the better of the others, was Neymar. And then, two athletes from Flamengo, Gabigol in second, and Bruno Henrique in third. Vinícius Júnior is only in fourth place, followed by Germán Cano in fifth.

Earlier in the week, the Atlas Intel Institute had already carried out another survey related to football, this time about who had the biggest fans in the country.

In this case, Flamengo dominated the list, taking first place. Surprises for Bahia in 9th and Sport in 14th.
