Volkswagen Gol 2014: photos, prices

The 2014 Gol presents basic, intermediate and top-of-the-line versions, with a new addition to all lines being the new storage compartment with cup in the center console, internal opening of the trunk and central locking.

As for the design, the model continues with the option of two or four doors with wiper, washer and rear defroster.

Engine and characteristics of the Volkswagen Gol 2014

The 1.0l TEC engine, with 175/70 R14 green tires, has an instantaneous fuel consumption indicator and an indicator of the ideal gear that should be used. There is also the 1.6l EA111 VHT engine which, when running on ethanol, reaches 104 horsepower at 5,250 rpm, and 101 horsepower on gasoline.

All versions already have ABS brakes and front airbags as standard, further increasing the safety of passengers and driver.

As an option, the new Gol 2014 comes with the BlueMotion Technology package, which allows for up to 8% less fuel consumption in 1.0 VHT engines.

Another change in the model was the new generation of 1.0l engines, from the EA111 family. Called TEC, which stands for Fuel Saving Technology, it reduces fuel consumption and also CO2 emissions, reaching 76 horsepower on ethanol and 72 horsepower on gasoline.

Price Volkswagen Gol 2014

The price of the Gol 2014 can change a lot depending on the version, with a 2-door Gol G4 1.0 costing R$25,750 and a 4-door R$27,780. In the Ecomotion version the value remains the same.

The New Gol 1.0 with 2 doors costs R$ 28,280 and with 4 doors R$ 29,910. Versions with 1.6 engines cost R$33,210 and R$34,850 with two and four doors, respectively. The I-Motion version costs R$36,000 and R$37,640.

For the top of the line version, the Gol 1.6 Highline 4 doors costs R$44,690 and the I-Motion version goes up to R$47,480.
