Alec Baldwin's wife opens up and supports her husband after death lawsuit in 'Rust'

On Monday (30), Hilaria Baldwin participated in a podcast and opened up about the difficult period she has been going through with her family after her husband, Alec Baldwin, was indicted for manslaughter over the death of director Halyna Hutchins while filming the film Rust.

The yoga instructor participated in the Witches Anonymous podcast and thanked her friends and the public for their support. “It has been a difficult time for my family and I want to express to you how grateful I am for your support, your kindness and your reason. You are helping us be stronger parents and partners during this unimaginable time resulting from such a heartbreaking tragedy. Both Alec and the set's armorer, Hannah Gutierrez Reed, were indicted for the death of Halyna Hutchins and are accused of using a firearm on site in 2021. The photography director's death was not considered accidental, however, even so, Halyna's family filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the actor and others involved in the production. They claim he directly caused her death and was negligent in handling the gun.
