Craig Green presents a fashion show celebrating 10 years of the brand with good reviews

Craig Green presented his collection last Wednesday afternoon (05) in celebration of 10 years of career. Considered as one of the best presentations ever paraded by the brand, the new collection brought layering as the main point of the pieces and presented different models, mixing the sporty style with the ethereal style of astronauts.

With a select audience of friends and colleagues from the industry, invited by the brand itself, the fashion show took place at the English brand's “home”, also known as its studio in Silvertown, an old industrial area located in London. In a friendly gathering, Craig Green showcased pieces that conveyed the genius of connection, history and relationships.

About the collection

With a production full of super overlapping, one of the pieces that caught the most attention was the construction of different overlapping leather jackets forming a new piece, clearly highlighting the brand's excellence in creativity in building innovative pieces.

Fred Perry shirts were also part of the collection and mixed with different tops, casual shirts and coats that brought rich details and elements. Modeling – the brand's strong point – brought different joints, seams and textures by applying leather, threads and metal elements to connect the pieces.

Despite being a modern and innovative collection, Craig also brought utilitarianism effectively and mixed it with commercial productions.

A story of connection

The brand returns to the catwalk after creative director Craig Green – the same name as the brand – left to focus on personal and family issues. A difficult process for the brand, but one that was conducted to reflect and produce this new collection that is inspired, in a poetic way, by relationships.

Green explains that his collection presents the contours of who we are supposed to be, and the marks we leave behind go hand in hand. The harsh grip of inherited codes and the rhythmic appeal of successive and repetitive forms, admired and followed”.

He also adds that family figures and relationships build codes and elements in each person, and that these codes, when carefully dismantled, show a richness in stories. Therefore, the brand's new collection attracted positive comments due to the exquisite creativity of the pieces, as well as their values ​​and stories presented.
