Heart of King Charles will have a striking and pompous military procession

The coronation ceremony of King Charles II, son of the late Queen Elizabeth, will have a military procession with around 5,000 members of the British Armed Forces, who will be accompanied by soldiers from more than 30 Commonwealth countries, a cooperation group formed by former colonies of the United Kingdom.

The coronation will take place at Westminster Abbey in London on May 6 and the procession that will accompany it is already considered one of the largest military operations with ceremonial purposes in decades.

“From the procession down The Mall, to flying over London, to cannon fire at sea and across the country, it will be a spectacular and fitting tribute.”said Defense Secretary Ben Wallace.

There will be two processions on the morning of May 6th: One will take the King to the Abbey to be crowned, alongside his wife, Camilla; and the other will take place shortly thereafter, returning to Buckingham Palace, where the Charles and the royal family will make an appearance on the balcony. Charles and Camilla will be transported in the Gold State Coach, which has been used at every coronation since William IV in 1831.

Less than eight months ago, England and the world witnessed another remarkable ceremony – the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II – who died at the age of 96 and 70 years on the British throne.

The ceremony that will crown your son will be entitled to traditions of over 1000 years, a series of protocols and pomp, which makes the event so attractive and keeps the media interested in sharing and disseminating as many details as possible.
