In Luxembourg’s debut, Corinthians loses to Del Valle at the Arena

This Tuesday, the 2nd, Corinthians received Independiente Del Valle, at the Neo Química Arena, in a game valid for the third round of the group stage of the Copa CONMEBOL Libertadores. Needing a positive result to move up in the group’s standings, the Brazilian team ended up surprised by the Ecuadorians, who won by 2-1 and took second place.

With both teams needing the result, the start of the game is very tense at the Corinthians stadium. 2nd TIME

After the break, Del Valle managed to score again! Maycon received a pass at the stake and retreated very badly to defender Murillo. The young man ended up being anticipated by Lautaro Díaz, who won the ball inside the area and hit Cássio on the way out to put the Ecuadorian team back in the lead!

Corinthians responded immediately and ended up stamping the post twice!
