The 52-year-old actor was hit by a 7-tonne snowcat on Day 1⁰ January, when he saved his nephew Alex from being hit by the machine.

In a recent interview with ABC News, Jeremy spoke about the accident, the injuries he suffered and how he feels today. “If I had been there, alone, it would have been a horrible way to die,” he declared, emphasizing how important his nephew’s assistance was.

He said he asked his family not to let him live ‘with tubes in a machine’ and instead consider end-of-life options. “If my existence is going to be based on drugs and painkillers, let me go now”, he recalled. Jeremy even said goodbye with written messages on his phone when he thought he would not survive.

The actor even apologized to his family using sign language from his hospital bed.

Yesterday, on April 9, Renner was spotted in front of his home in Los Angeles, riding a scooter with his daughter, Ava. A day earlier, Renner enjoyed moments of leisure and relaxation with his family at an amusement park in California.

He also commented that, despite all the suffering and pain he felt, in addition to having broken more than 30 bones in the accident, he does not regret what he did and would have done it all over again to save his nephew’s life. “I’ve lost a lot of flesh and bone, but I’ve been replenished and replenished with love – and titanium”, joked.

The actor also reinforces that he hopes to one day return to doing his maneuvers on the big screen, but that, for now, it is better to leave this task to the stuntmen while he waits in his trailer.
