Sony and Insomniac Games have announced that they will release a standalone version of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered for PS5 in May, which will be available for purchase for $49.99.
Users who own Marvel’s Spider-Man for PS4 in both physical and digital formats will be able to upgrade to the remaster on PS5 for $10.
Until then, it was only possible to gain access to the remaster on PS5 by purchasing Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition. Players who own the regular edition of Miles Morales will still be able to receive the remaster by upgrading to the Ultimate Edition.
It was also reported that it will be released on May 6 in the United States. a comic which will serve as a prequel to the story of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which is due out in Q4 for PS5.
