Without releasing any solo material since the album “Anti”2016, “Lift Me Up“, was written to pay homage to the life and legacy of actor Chadwick Boseman, the eternal Black Panther who died of cancer in 2020, aged 43, and was recorded in five countries and was released on Westbury Road, the businesswoman's own label, in partnership with Roc Nation, Def Jam Recordings and Hollywood Records.
The artist's emotional and light vocals are moving fans throughout the track, which talks about the insecurities and fragilities of human beings, about love and the need to feel welcomed.
And the news doesn't stop there, recently the singer announced it on her profile on Twitterone teaser containing the first images of what could become the song's music video. Images of the singer on a beach are interspersed with images from the film. Watch:

It's worth remembering that Rihanna will release yet another song, titled “Born Again”, for the film, which is scheduled to premiere in theaters on November 10th this year. The album “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever — Music From and Inspired By” is scheduled to be released on November 4th on digital platforms.
