Campeonato Brasileiro: Who are the greatest champions of the competition?

The Brasileirão currently brings together 20 clubs from the country to dispute the title. Throughout its history, the championship already had other formats to decide its champion. This is the 20th edition of the running stitch era, and the 64th edition since 1959.

Follow which are the 17 teams that lifted the trophy. Palmeiras holds the ranking of the greatest champion so far, having already won 11 titles.

Titles are in concentration in the southeast region of the country. The state of São Paulo acquired 33 trophies with the teams from São Paulo and then the cariocas arrived with 18 trophies representing Rio de Janeiro.

The first round of the Brazilian Championship starts this Saturday, April 15th and ends on December 3rd.
