Special edition of ‘Mulheres de Areia’ has a premiere date. Check out!

Ready for the Special Edition of “Mulheres de Areia”? TV Globo separated the main highlights of the plots that make up the telenovela to leave you in the rhythm of the success that returns to the air this Monday, June 26th. The work by Ivani Ribeiro, released in 1993, will be re-exhibited in the first week in a ride with “Chocolate com Pimenta”, right after “Jornal Hoje”.

However, his brother-in-law, Mayor Breno Soares (Daniel Dantas), wants to prevent this plan from going ahead. The politician, very idealistic and humanitarian, discovers that the waters of Pontal beach are polluted. After an outbreak of cholera, the city manager decides to ban sea bathing, provoking Virgílio’s revolt.

But Breno is not alone in the dispute against the businessman. Tonia (Andrea Beltrão), the fearless owner of a bazaar, and the doctor Munhoz (Edwin Luisi), who nurture a platonic love for her, are some of those who are committed to the socio-environmental cause. Virgílio is also contradicted at home.

His youngest daughter, Malu (Vivianne Amazing), blames his father for the death of his fiance and insults him whenever he can. Amidst the unusual situations she sets up to maintain the pose of a rebellious daughter, the young woman ends up falling in love with the farmer Alaor (Humberto Martins), and the two live a fun romance.

“We had a great freedom of improvisation. It was there that I met Vivi. It’s what I usually call chemistry, when an actor and an actress are totally available to play their characters”, said Humberto Martins about the role.

URBAN CHARACTERS

In the more urban core of the serial there is also Virgílio’s partner, Sampaio (Adriano Reis), which maintains a brokerage firm in Rio de Janeiro. Married to the irreverent Juju (Nicette Bruno), who tries to copy the refinement of Virgílio’s wife, Clarita Assunção (Susana Vieira), he is the father of the ambitious Andrea (Karina Perez) and sweet Carola (Alexandra Marzo).

Meanwhile, fishermen in the village of Pontal suffer high Donato fees (Paulo Goulart), owner of the boats to whom they have to submit. For moments of relaxation, they go to Bar do Alemão (Jonas Bloch) or Joel’s restaurant (Evandro Mesquita), a meeting point always busy with guitar circles.

“Mulheres de Areia – Special Edition” premieres on June 26, right after “Jornal Hoje”. The work is authored by Ivani Ribeiro in collaboration with Solange Castro Neves. The direction is by Carlos Magalhães with Ignácio Coqueiro and general direction by Wolf Maya. The soap opera also features Daniel Dantas, Vivianne Pasmanter, Eloísa Mafalda, Paulo Goulart, Evandro Mesquita, Oscar Magrini and a great cast.
