The famous composer Yuzo Koshiro, who became famous for having made the soundtrack of several 16-bit games, revealed this Friday (16) that Earthion is the name of his new game for Mega Drive.
“Happy to reveal the official Earthion title for our Mega Drive/Genesis shoot ’em up currently in development. As the Earth gracefully rotates beneath our iconic title screen logo that pays homage to that era, immerse yourself in an unparalleled level of pleasure like never before,” said Koshiro.
The name of the game was revealed along with a new video showing some of its graphics, music, sound effects and gameplay. In it we can also see written “2024” on the title screen, suggesting that this should be the year the game will be released.
Remembering that Earthion is being made for the Mega Drive’s native hardware, so everything in it has been produced in an authentic way for the console.
