Jennifer Lawrence thinks flying is ‘terrible’
Four years ago, Jennifer Lawrence was on board a private jet that had to make an emergency landing. Since then, the 31-year-old actress finds flying a lot less pleasant, she says in conversation with Vanity Fair.
During the flight, the engines fell out and the aircraft had to make an emergency landing. The actress, who had just finished shooting the thriller Mother!, thought she was going to die.
Jennifer Lawrence thinks flying is ‘terrible’
“I went to call my family and left voicemails saying, ‘I’ve had a great life, and I’m sorry.’ I felt guilty, I would leave anyone behind. And my dog was sitting on my lap, he hadn’t asked for this either.”
Lawrence began to pray. “This is getting painful, but maybe we’ll survive,” she hoped. Shortly thereafter, the private jet landed safely at an airport in Buffalo. “It did make me weaker. Flying is terrible now. And unfortunately I have to get on a plane every now and then.”
