Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez engaged again

On April 9, 2022, Jennifer Lopez revealed with great emotion that she was once again engaged to Ben Affleck. Very moved, she also unveiled her wedding ring which is a true work of art.

Kisses, hugs, passionate kisses, tender looks and public cooing,… Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are in love as they are on the first day since their reconciliation last May, eighteen years after their breakup.

Almost a year after their blowback, the actor and the interpreter of the title Ain’t Your Mama have decided to take an additional step:

they are engaged! To announce this wonderful news, Jennifer Lopez first revealed, with tears in her eyes, that she had something very important to share with her fans via Twitter.

“So I have a really exciting and special story to share…” she told her followers. She also added an emoji depicting a diamond ring to her Twitter account.

On her website OnTheJlo.com, the 52-year-old singer unveiled the huge ring that her darling gave her for their engagement. A magnificent alliance set with diamond and a sublime green stone (maybe a sapphire or an emerald?). “Perfect” whispers J-Lo while looking with great tenderness at his wedding ring.

Interviewed by People, the singer also shared what makes their connection different today compared to eighteen years ago, explaining:

“We are older now, we are smarter, we have more experience, we are in different places in our lives, we have children now, and we need to be very aware of these things.

It’s a wonderful result that it’s happened this way at this time in our lives where we can really appreciate and celebrate each other and respect each other.”

For his part, Ben Affleck (49) told the WSJ. Magazine in December 2021 that he felt “lucky” to have had second chances, both in his professional and personal life. “I had second chances in my career.

I had second chances as a human being. Life is difficult, and we are always failing and hopefully learning from these failures, he said. 

The only thing you really need to take advantage of the opportunities offered by this growth is second chance. I really tried to enjoy it. I haven’t always succeeded, but in the cases where I have succeeded, they have proven to be the defining aspects of my life.”

Mother of twins Emme and Max (14, fruit of his love with her ex-husband Marc Anthony), Ben Affleck shares three children with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner: Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10.

As a reminder, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez began dating in July 2002 and got engaged in November of the same year.

Eventually, they decided to postpone their wedding to September 2003, a few days before the scheduled date. They finally broke off their engagement in January 2004.
