Blizzard Announces Requirements to Run Diablo IV on PC at Launch

Blizzard announced the official requirements to run the launch version of Diablo IV on PC. The settings are quite comprehensive, ranging from the computer that players will need to play the game with the lowest graphics quality, and reaching the machine needed to run the game in 4K on Ultra.

There are more configurations than the options that had been disclosed for the open beta, with Blizzard saying it used new data it obtained to compile the final game requirements.

Blizzard warns that while it’s possible to run Diablo IV on PCs that fall below the minimum requirement (including those that don’t have an SSD or are using an integrated GPU), “the gameplay experience could be significantly limited.”

Settings to run Diablo IV at 1080p native resolution/720p render resolution, low graphics settings, and 30 FPS.

Ultra 4K

Settings to run Diablo IV at 4K resolution, ultra graphics settings and 60 FPS.

• Memory: 32 GB of RAM
• Video card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series for full compatibility with DLSS3 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT
• DirectX: Version 12
• Storage: SSD with 90 GB available space
• Internet: broadband connection

On consoles, Blizzard has officially confirmed that the version of Diablo IV for Xbox Series X will run at 4K and 60 fps.

The game will be released on June 6 for PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
