Gun Media and Illfonic decided to level up all players and give them access to all Legendary perks in Friday the 13th: The Game.
The news comes some time after Gun Media announced that the license to use the franchise name of serial killer Jason Voorhees will expire on December 31, the date on which the game will no longer be sold in stores. It will remain playable until the end of 2024, when the servers shut down, giving players about a year and a half of time to enjoy the game.
On Thursday the 6th, Friday the 13th: The Game will receive an update which will bring all players to the maximum level (150) and give them all 30 legendary perks, stripped of all negative effects, as well as all of Jason’s kills, with the exception of those unlocked via DLC.

“This was the best way we could find to give you, the players, the best experience and a sincere thank you as we move towards an inevitable goodbye,” wrote game director Wes Keltner.
